Description

The Rectory is an early 19th-century building, originally a rectory. It is constructed of yellow brick with a slate roof, and has a double-depth plan. The front elevation has three bays, each containing a window. The central bay features a six-panel part-glazed door within a lattice porch. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath gauged brick arches. The roof is hipped, with overhanging eaves, and brick stacks rise from the ridge. The garden front is similar in appearance, but the central bay projects forward, featuring a later square bay. The interior was noted to contain an early 19th-century staircase with a stick balustrade.
