Description
Blenheim Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, constructed of coursed squared limestone with a slate roof and brick end stacks. It has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, featuring a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a four-panel part-glazed door with panelled reveals and a straight hood supported by wrought iron brackets. This door is flanked by three-light 19th-century casement windows on both the ground and first floors, with a two-light casement above and a small square window to the right on the ground floor. All windows have timber lintels, and those on the first floor have cemented heads above. The building is adorned with quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. To the right, there is a lower two-storey, one-window extension. Inside, the cottage features chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace with a bressumer. The cottage is included for its group value.
