Description

Ivy Cottage is a house from the 18th century, constructed of squared coursed limestone with a thatched roof. It features a stone-coped gable on the left and brick stacks at both ends. The building has two storeys and a two-window range, following a two-unit plan. In the centre, there is a four-panelled door with a 20th-century gabled porch. On either side of the door, there are three-light casements with wooden lintels. On the first floor, there are two-light casements with chamfered wooden lintels on both sides. To the right, there is a 20th-century brick outshut. Inside, the cottage has a chamfered spine beam and an open fireplace with a timber bressumer.
