Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and brick, which is now painted, and features a thatched roof. The building originally had a one-unit plan and stands two storeys tall. The façade has a two-window range of casements with glazing bars set under wooden lintels. To the right, there is a 20th-century door with a lattice porch. An end brick stack is present, and the right gable has been partially rebuilt in brick. Inside, the cottage retains ceiling beams and remnants of an open fireplace.
