Description
Paddock Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, with possible earlier origins. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and features a thatched roof with stone ridge and end stacks, one of which has a brick shaft. The building has two storeys.
On the ground floor, from left to right, there is a 20th-century window, two 2-light casement windows, and a 20th-century door, all set beneath stone lintels with tall flush keystones. Additionally, there is a single-light window in a blocked doorway, and another 2-light window beneath a similar lintel with a keystone. The first floor contains three 2-light iron-framed gudgeon-hung casement windows.
To the left and right of the cottage are low pantiled outbuildings that have been converted into domestic accommodation. The interior has not been inspected.
