Description
Sandpit Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, that likely dates from the 18th century and has been altered. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a 20th-century plain-tile roof with coped gables and 19th-century stone ridge and end stacks. The building has two storeys, with a main block and a cross-wing to the left. There is a door to the left of the main block, which is sheltered by a hood. The windows are a mix of two- and three-light casements, some of which are iron-framed and have gudgeon-hung wooden lintels. At the rear, there is a range of outbuildings, including one made of squared stone that has been converted to domestic accommodation, dating from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
