Description
Fairview House is a late 18th-century brick house located on Flore High Street. It features a slate roof and brick end stacks, with a two-unit plan. The building is three stories tall and has a three-window range. The entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight and a moulded wood surround, topped with a straight hood, positioned just to the right of center. This door is flanked by three-light leaded casement windows, which have stone flat-arched heads and keyblocks. Above, there are similar windows, along with a blocked central window. The upper floors also feature three-light leaded casements with timber lintels and a blocked central window. The ground floor windows have shutters, and the eaves are nogged brick. To the right, there is a two-story lean-to extension with a small one-light window, while to the left, there is a two-story wing that has 20th-century ground floor windows and a three-light first-floor casement. The interior has not been inspected.
