GV II*

Farmhouse. Early C18. Limestone ashlar with ironstone dressings, slate roof, stone end stacks with paired square chimneys. T-plan. 2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. Central 4-panel door with overlight in moulded wood surround with moulded eaved stone surround with keyblock and broken pediment framing horizontal oval panel topped by small ball finial. 3-light casements windows either side of door with flat-arched heads and keyblocks, moulded stone sills and jambs, and 2-light casements with moulded stone sills and surrounds with keyblocks to first floor. Chamfered plinth and quoins, moulded string course, moulded stone eaves, central roof dormer and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Similar 1-light windows to right side elevation and similar windows in wing to rear. Interior has stop-chamfered spine beams; open fireplace in kitchen with stop-chamfered bressumer and bread oven, dog-leg staircase from ground floor to attic with turned balusters, bolection moulded wood chimneypiece in upper room and stone cellar.
