Description
Woodcroft is a house dated 1722, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone, with some courses of brick below the eaves. The roof is covered in plain tiles, and there are brick end stacks on stone bases. The house has a 3-unit through-passage plan, is two storeys tall with an attic, and features a three-window range. The central entrance has a four-panel part-glazed door with a narrow pilastered surround and a 19th-century trellised porch. To the right of the door is a two-light casement window, while the other windows on the ground and first floors are three-light casements with stop-chamfered timber lintels. A datestone inscribed "TC/1722" is located between the left and central first-floor windows, framed with a scrolled sill, floral decoration, and a hood mould. The gables are stone-coped with kneelers. Inside, there are stop-chamfered spine beams.
