Description

15 The Green is a farmhouse dated 1834, constructed from coursed squared limestone with a hipped slate roof and tall brick lateral stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and is two storeys high with a three-window range. The entrance features a four-panel door with an overlight, panelled reveals, a moulded wood surround, and a gabled hood supported by brackets, accessed by one stone step. The ground and first floors have 16-pane sash windows with stop-chamfered wood lintels. The farmhouse also displays quoins and overhanging eaves. To the left, there is a single-storey gabled extension. A datestone inscribed "IFG/1834" is located at the base of the right lateral stack. At the rear, facing the yard, are two- and three-light casement windows, also with stop-chamfered wood lintels.
