Description
The Manor is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and features a slate roof, with brick stacks at the ends and a central ridge. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a three-window range on its main southern front. This facade includes a central panelled door that is partially glazed, framed by a moulded stone surround, a pulvinated frieze, and a broken pediment supported by brackets. The ground and first floors are fitted with three-light casement windows that have flat-arched heads. Additional architectural details include quoins, a storey-band, and stone-coped gables with kneelers. To the rear right, there is a two-storey wing, likely built in the 18th century, which is adjacent to the road. Inside, the property features chamfered spine beams and a collar truss roof with wind-braced purlins.
