Description

The flight of steps, located approximately 20 meters northwest of the garden front of Overstone College, dates from the mid-19th century and is likely designed by W.M. Teulon. Constructed from limestone ashlar, the steps feature low parapets on either side. This structure is part of a formal arrangement that includes another flight of steps approximately 20 meters southwest of the garden front, a terrace wall, a balustrade, and an additional flight of steps about 10 meters west of the garden front, along with a terrace wall and gate approximately 40 meters west of the garden front. The steps are included for their group value with Overstone College.
