Description

This is a house, likely dating from the early 18th century, with a datestone indicating 1790. It is constructed of regular coursed limestone with a thatched roof. Originally, the house comprised three rooms. It is two storeys high and has a two-window front with leaded casement windows, each with a timber lintel. A central 19th-century part-glazed door sits beneath a timber lintel and is sheltered by a lattice porch. The gables are finished with ashlar parapets, kneeler details, and brick stacks at the ridge and end. A datestone is positioned above the door. A thatched outbuilding that was originally separate is now incorporated into the main house on the right. The interior, which has not been inspected, is said to feature spine beams with run-out stops, and an open fireplace with a bressumer.
