Description

This is a house dating from the early and mid-18th century. It is built of regular coursed limestone and has a thatched roof. The house follows a three-unit plan and is one and two storeys high, with a four-window front. The windows are 19th-century casements, each set beneath a wooden lintel. A plank door is located to the left of the centre, and a four-panel door is to the far right. The bay to the far left is single-storied with a lower eaves line. The house has an ashlar stack at one end and a brick stack to the ridge. The right gable features an ashlar band between the floors and two 19th-century casements under wooden lintels. The rear elevation has one leaded casement. Inside, original ceiling beams are visible, along with the remnants of an open fireplace and a 19th-century cast-iron range. A winder stair and some 18th-century two-panelled doors are also present.
