Description
This is a house, dating from 1716, as indicated by a datestone. It is constructed of regular coursed limestone and has a slate roof. Originally designed with a two-unit plan, the house has two storeys and a two-window front elevation. The windows are casements with wooden lintels; the ground-floor window on the right is a 20th-century replacement. A central six-panel door is also set beneath a wooden lintel. A brick stack is located at one end of the building. The rear elevation is similar in style, with a central plank door under a wooden lintel. A blocked door on the right side of the rear elevation has a datestone positioned above it. The interior of the house has not been inspected. The building has group value owing to its contribution to the character of the area.
