Description
No. 6 Church Way is a house dating from the mid-19th century. It is built of regular coursed limestone and features a plain-tile roof. The original plan is L-shaped, and the house has two storeys with a two-window range of casements that have cast-iron diamond and lozenge glazing bars, all set under shallow stone arches. To the right, there is a 19th-century part-glazed door, also under a shallow stone arch. The gable on the left projects forward and includes a half dormer on the right. All gables are adorned with decorative bargeboards that have inverted finials. The house has stone stacks at the eaves and at the ends. There are small 20th-century extensions to both the left and right sides. The interior has not been inspected.
