Description

The Half Moon Public House dates from the early 18th century. Constructed of regular coursed limestone, it originally comprised three units. The building has a thatched roof and a 3-window front façade, with casement windows featuring glazing bars, all set beneath wooden lintels. A canted wooden bay window extends from the right-hand side. A 20th-century door is located to the right of centre, also beneath a wooden lintel. The left-hand gable has ashlar kneelers, and brick stacks are situated at the ridge and end of the roof. Inside, there are ceiling beams.
