Description

This is a late 17th-century house located on Main Road in Grendon. It is a simple two-unit dwelling with a thatched roof. The exterior is of regular coursed limestone, now rendered, and features a two-window facade with plain casement windows fitted with 20th-century leaded lights. An eyebrow dormer is positioned on the left side. Brick stacks are visible at the ridge and end of the building. A rear entrance and a small 20th-century extension have been added to the rear. Inside, the house retains an open fireplace with a bressumer, ceiling beams, and the original roof structure.
