Description
Nos. 13 and 14 on Main Street are two houses that were likely built in the mid-18th century. They are constructed from squared coursed limestone and feature a 20th-century plain tile roof. The original design was a two-unit plan, and the buildings stand two storeys high. The front has a four-window arrangement with 19th-century casements set under wooden lintels. There are two plank doors located to the left and right of the center, with a window positioned between them. Brick stacks are located at both ends of the buildings. A stone mullioned window is noted at the rear. Although the interior has not been inspected, it likely retains remnants of an open fireplace. These houses are included for their group value.
