Description
Nos. 15 and 16 are two houses dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. They are constructed from squared coursed ironstone and limestone, topped with a thatched roof. Each house originally had a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high. Together, they form a four-window range featuring 20th-century casements with glazing bars set in the original openings, along with eyebrow dormers on the first floor. The windows are adorned with wood lintels, and there is a leaded fire window in the center. Between the window ranges, there are two 19th-century plank doors also under wood lintels. The houses have brick stacks located at the ridge and at the ends. The gables on the left and right show evidence of an 18th-century roofline. There are 19th and 20th-century extensions at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
