Description

No. 12 on the A6003 is a building that dates back to the early 18th century and was originally two houses that have now been combined into one dwelling. The structure is made of squared coursed ironstone and regular coursed limestone, topped with a thatched roof. It was originally designed with a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. The facade features a four-window range, with some leaded casements set beneath wooden lintels, along with similar casements under eyebrow dormers in the attic above. To the right, there is a 19th-century plank door beneath a wooden lintel, while to the left, a blocked door has been converted into a window. The building has brick stacks located at the ridge and the end. The interior has not been inspected.
