Description

This is a late 17th and 19th century house located on the north side of Park Walk, Brigstock. The house is constructed from squared coursed limestone and has a thatched roof. Originally built with a two-unit plan, it is a single-storey structure with an attic. The ground floor features a two-window range of 19th-century casement windows, each set beneath a wooden lintel. Matching casement windows, set within eyebrow dormers, are present in the attic. A central 19th-century plank door, with a glazed panel, sits beneath a wooden lintel. An ashlar chimney stack rises from the ridge of the roof. A bay to the left was likely raised in the 19th century and incorporates two 20th-century casement windows on the ground floor, with an eyebrow dormer above. The walls are rendered at the attic level. The interior, which was not inspected, is said to contain an open fireplace with a bressumer and ceiling beams.
