Description

This is a dovecote located approximately 20 meters east of Dovecote House, which is not included in this listing. It is likely from the 17th century and is constructed of regularly coursed limestone with a pantile roof. The dovecote has a rectangular plan. The east gable features a small plank door with a heavy arch-headed wooden surround beneath a wooden lintel. The south elevation has a loft door, and the gable parapets are made of ashlar. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to contain nesting boxes.
