Description

Little Thatches is a late 17th-century house located on the north side of Middle Street, Isham. The house is constructed of regular coursed limestone with a thatched roof. Originally planned as three units, it now has two storeys and an attic. The front has a four-window arrangement, with casement windows of 2 and 3 lights, featuring leaded glass and lintels made of wood. A central entrance door consisting of six panels and glazed upper lights is topped by a wood lintel and is sheltered by a rustic thatched porch. The gable parapets are of ashlar, with kneelers, and a central stack built of brick and stone. A lean-to has been added to the right side of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
