Description
This is a mid-18th century house located on the north side of Middle Street in Isham. The building is likely constructed of ironstone, now rendered, and has a thatched roof. It follows a two-unit plan. The facade has a three-window arrangement; the first floor windows are casements, and those on the ground floor are sash windows, all featuring glazing bars. A central 20th-century six-panel door is set within a moulded wooden surround and has a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars, which are likely from the early 19th century. A partial ashlar gable parapet is on the left side, and brick stacks are positioned at the ends of the building. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of surrounding buildings.
