Description
No. 12 Church Street is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is built of regularly coursed limestone and ironstone, topped with a thatched roof. The house has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. The front elevation facing the road features a two-window range, with a casement window on the right and a blocked door opening on the left. There is evidence of an opening to the right of centre and a fire window at the far right, both of which are now blocked. Brick stacks are located at both ends of the house, and there are two pigeon holes in the left gable. The rear of the house is similar but includes a 20th-century extension. The interior has not been inspected.
