Description

House at 27 Seaton Road, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The original layout was a two-unit plan over two storeys. The front has a two-window range of 19th century style casements set under wooden lintels, and a central plank door also beneath a wooden lintel. There are brick stacks at either end of the building. The rear has 19th and 20th century extensions. Inside, there are remnants of an open fireplace with a reused bressumer.
