Description

5 Cambridge Street is a mid-18th century house, now used as a shop. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and has a plain-tile roof. Originally designed with a two-unit plan, the house now has a three-window front, with the central window blocked. The windows are tripartite sashes with glazing bars. The windows to the left have flat arch heads with keystones. A 20th-century shop front occupies the ground floor. A moulded stone cornice and gable parapet are present on the left side, along with a single flat-topped roof dormer.
