Description
The Vicarage is a building located on Church Street in Wellingborough, reputedly dating from around 1843, with later additions from the 19th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and stone, featuring ashlar dressings, and has a double-depth plan. The building stands three storeys high and has a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door set within a projecting stone porch, flanked by stone mullion bay windows, all topped with a plain parapet. The first and second floors have casement windows with glazing bars, each with dripstones above. The building is capped with a castellated parapet and has rendered stacks at both ends. The rear and side elevations include some sash windows with glazing bars. Inside, the staircase features a stick balustrade, and there are several six-panelled doors.
