Description

Nos. 23 and 24 on Market Street are a house and shops, now functioning as shops, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of stuccoed brick and stone, topped with slate roofs. It features two one-unit shops and rises to three storeys. The façade has a three-window range of sash windows that reduce in size on the second floor, all of which have glazing bars. There are two late 19th-century shop fronts and a moulded cornice. Brick stacks are located at the ridge.
