Description
The building is a farmhouse, likely dating from the late 17th century, with subsequent raising in the late 18th century and an extension in the 19th century. Constructed of squared coursed limestone, it has a Collyweston slate roof. The building follows a 4-unit plan with a cross wing. The main block is 4 bays wide; the bay to the right is set forward as a gabled cross wing, featuring a 3-window range to the first floor and a 5-window range to the ground floor. Windows are 19th-century casements, some with leaded lights, all with timber lintels. A 20th-century door is located to the left of the cross wing and has a 20th-century lean-to porch. Remains of ashlar stacks are visible at the ridge and end of the building. An attached, single-story outbuilding from the 19th century has a lean-to porch. The interior was noted to have spine beams, though it has not been inspected.
