Description
Cherry Tree Cottage is a house that dates from the late 18th century, with additions and alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and has a Collyweston slate roof. The building has a two-unit plan and features a two-window range of 19th-century casements set under wooden lintels. There is a 20th-century lean-to porch at the center. Ashlar stacks are present at the ridge and at the end of the building. To the right, there is a bay that was likely added in the 19th century and has been remodeled and extended in the 20th century; it includes a 20th-century garage door at ground level with a 19th-century style casement window above. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
