Description

FINEDON SIDEGATE LANE SP976W (East side) 2/44 Carrol Spring Farmhouse 26/10/76 - II Farmhouse. c.1836 for Reverend Samuel Woodfield Paul, Vicar of Finedon. Regular coursed limestone with slate roof. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys. 2-window range. Central C20 door under flat arch head with keyblock. Casement windows under flat arch heads with keyblocks. Hipped roof with brick stacks at ends. Datestone between second floor windows has Reverend Pauls initials. Interior not inspected. Allocated to the Vicar of Finedon by the Enclosure Act of 1806.
