Description
Vicarage Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century and 19th century, constructed from regularly coursed ironstone with a slate roof. The building has a four-unit plan and stands two storeys high, featuring a four-window range of 19th-century casements with glazing bars set under wooden lintels. To the left of the centre is a six-panel door with glazed top lights, also under a wooden lintel. The right side has an ashlar gable parapet, with brick and stone stacks at the ridge and end. There are single-storey extensions at the rear. Inside, the rooms to the left and right of the entrance likely have open fireplaces, which are now blocked. The room to the left of the entrance includes a moulded wood cornice and a spine beam. An attached 19th-century ironstone wall on the right side of the main front has 19th-century coping and encloses two sides of the front garden.
