Description
Harlock House is a house dating from the early 17th century, with some 19th-century alterations. It is built of regularly coursed ironstone and has a slate roof, featuring a T-shaped plan. The house stands two storeys tall with an attic. The main front includes a gabled cross wing to the right of a one-window range. On the ground floor, there is an early 19th-century sash window with glazing bars, while the first floor has a four-light wood mullion window with glazing bars and a moulded wood lintel. The attic features a 19th-century casement window under a wood lintel. To the left, there is an early 19th-century six-panelled door with a moulded wood surround, leading to a 20th-century outer door. The building is adorned with a moulded stone cornice and an ashlar gable parapet, and it has brick stacks at the ridge. The interior has not been inspected.
