Description
Crow End Cottage is a building that was likely constructed in the early 18th century and has been altered in the mid-19th century for William Mackworth-Dolben and again in the 20th century. It was originally two houses that have now been combined into one. The exterior features regular coursed and squared ironstone and limestone, topped with a pantile roof. The cottage has a two-storey structure with a three-window range of 20th-century casements. The central window on the first floor retains its original wood lintel and is topped by a small 19th-century gable with a trefoil above it. There is a 20th-century door to the left of the windows. The building also has stone stacks with ashlar cornices at the ridge and ends. The interior has not been inspected.
