Description

This barn, located to the west of Westfield Farmhouse, dates back to 1760, as indicated by a date on one of the beams. It features a timber frame and is weatherboarded with a brick plinth. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos, hipped on the left side and half-hipped on the right. The barn consists of three bays, with the central bay having a cart entry and the right bay featuring a lower gabled projection. There is a 20th-century corrugated asbestos shelter in the angle of the barn. The main section of the barn includes trusses with queen posts, curved principals, braced tie beams, and double purlins.
