Description

This barn, located 30 meters southwest of Woolmergreen Farmhouse, dates from around 1800. It is timber framed and covered with weatherboarding, topped with a roof made of corrugated asbestos. The barn consists of four bays arranged east to west, featuring a midstrey on the northern side. The roof is half-hipped at both ends. The main frame is jointed and pegged, with primary straight bracing and bolted knees connecting to the straight tiebeams. The roof structure includes clasped purlins.
