C17 timber-framed house of 2 bays and 1 1/2 storeys. Old tile roofs, leaded casements, later single storey wings at right angles beyond gables and south wing of 2 storeys. Form open courtyard to road. Timber-framing exposed to front and rear with brick infill, painted on front elevation. Right hand bay brick faced, painted. Two dormers. Modern porch to central entry in front of stack of old thin brick with moulded offset. Chamfered and stopped spine beams inside and chamfered fireplace lintel. Left-hand range converted outbuilding with queen strut trusses. Right hand range brick and flint. Each range with weatherboarded gable to roadside.
