Description
Rossway Home Farm Stable Block is a stable block that has been converted into a residence. It was built in the 18th century, with some additions made in the 19th century. The structure is made of red brick, including some burned bricks, and features a slate hipped roof.
The building consists of one long range, which has round-headed sash windows on the ground floor and 8/8 sash windows on the first floor. At the center, there is a wooden belfry and clocktower. There is also a lower range attached perpendicularly, made of brown brick with a hipped roof. This lower range has a full-height central opening under a pitched roof, flanked by segmental-arched windows.
The stable block has group value with the 1860s Rossway.
