Description
The Old Farmhouse and Willow Corner is a farmhouse and attached stables with haylofts above, now divided into two houses, dating from the 18th century. The Old Farmhouse is constructed of brick and features an old tile roof. It has three bays and two storeys, with a single-storey modern range to the right and a mid-18th century single-storey rear range. The central entrance is located behind a modern gabled brick porch. The windows are 2-light leaded mullioned and transomed casements set under segmental brick arches. The building has a moulded band course and eaves, with coped brick gables and gable stacks that have oversailing courses. The north elevation is colourwashed and rendered. The Old Farmhouse is a double pile house. Willow Corner is a double-gabled range with a coped gable, which was formerly used as stables with a hayloft above. The north elevation of Willow Corner is colourwashed roughcast, featuring a door at the right angle and two 2-light casements. There is also a brick and tile range that fronts the road.
