Description

The Boot is a house dating from the 17th century, with a later addition at the rear. It features a timber frame with colourwashed and rendered infill, and a painted rubble plinth. The rear wing is also colourwashed and rendered. The building has an old tile roof and consists of two bays and two storeys. It includes three-light leaded casements and a large projecting stack on the left, which is weathered and has an old thin brick flue, with the lower part made of colourwashed rubble. The entrance door is located in a porch at the angle between the stack and the wall, which has a tile roof. The rear wing is two storeys high.
