Description

Sunrise is an 18th-century house located on the north side of Church Lane in Chearsley. The building is constructed of witchert, which is rendered and colourwashed, sitting on a rubble stone plinth, and features an old tile roof. The original structure consists of three bays and two storeys, with an additional bay added in the 1960s, made of colourwashed and rendered blockwork to the south.

The front of the house has scored masonry jointing, along with painted rusticated quoins and surrounds for the openings. There is a door located between the left-hand bays, which is sheltered by an open gabled porch supported by posts and positioned in front of the stack. The left bays have leaded 2-light casements, while the two right bays feature modern casements on the first floor. The building has stepped brick eaves and a gable band, topped by a half hipped roof.
