Description

The Homestead is a house from the 17th century located on Upper Church Street in Cuddington. It is constructed of witchert, which is colourwashed and rendered, sitting on a rubblestone plinth. The house features timber-framed gables with plastered infill and consists of three bays over two storeys. The doorway is situated between the left-hand bays and has cut console brackets supporting an open pitched hood, creating a lobby entry plan. Above the doorway, there is a leaded single light closet window. The house has three bays of three-light casements, and the right-hand ground floor bay includes an additional single light modern casement. There are stacks located between the left bays and at the right gable.
