Description
The Bell Inn is a 17th-century inn located in Chearsley on The Green. It features colourwashed render and a thatched roof that is hipped to the south. The building consists of three bays and one and a half storeys, with a central door and three-light casements in the outer bays. There are three eyebrow windows on the upper floor, with the outer ones being leaded. A gable stack is present on the left side. To the left, there is a modern single-storey addition with tiled pitches. To the right, a southeast wing of one and a half storeys includes two dormers with three-light leaded casements. There is also a further range with a one-storey tiled roof. Inside, the inn features chamfered and stopped spine beams, along with some chamfered joists.
