Description
No. 3 Lenborough Road is a cottage dating from the mid to late 18th century, with alterations and an extension made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with limestone rubble on the sides. It features a plain-tile roof from the 20th century and brick stacks at each end. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. There is a 20th-century door located just to the left of the center, flanked by two-light 20th-century casement windows on the ground floor, all beneath a continuous stop-chamfered wood lintel. The first floor also has two-light 20th-century casements with wood lintels. At the rear, there is a two-story extension from the 20th century. Inside, the cottage includes stop-chamfered spine beams and a central collar truss in the roof.
