Description
The outbuilding to Prebend House is an 18th-century structure that was altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of rendered over coursed limestone rubble and red brick, topped with an old plain-tile roof that is half-hipped to the right. The building is rectangular in shape, consisting of one storey and a loft. It is positioned to the left and slightly forward of Prebend House, aligned with the street, and is attached to No. 2 on the left. The outbuilding features a central carriageway with a rendered brick elliptical-arched head, flanked by pedestrian doorways that have plank doors. The quoins are chamfered and rendered, and the eaves are moulded and rendered. Inside, the cobbled carriageway has a beamed ceiling, and a red brick wall is visible at the rear.
