Description
Prebend Cottage is a cottage that has been converted into offices. It likely dates from the 17th century and was altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, featuring brick ridge and end stacks, and has a plain-tile roof with darker tiles arranged in zigzag patterns. It has a three-unit plan, stands two storeys high with an attic, and has a three-window range. There is a 20th-century stone porch to the left of the centre. The centre features a French window, while the ground floor has three-light casement windows on the left and right, as well as on the first floor, all with lintels. The eaves are cogged brick, and there are two hipped roof dormer windows, each with two-light casements. Inside, the cottage has ogee stop-chamfered spine beams.
