Description

This is a late 18th-century footbridge over the River Wye, located to the rear of number 21 in Wooburn Manor Park. The bridge is constructed of brick and features a turfed footway. It has two semi-circular arches with carved head corbel stones, which may be medieval, serving as keystones. There is a cut-water on the southeast side, and the bridge does not have parapets. The River Wye once functioned as a moat surrounding the grounds of Wooburn House, which was demolished in 1963.
