Description
This is a carriage bridge over the River Wylye, built in the early 19th century. It features a segmental arch made of English bond brick. The east side has a low stone coping topped with a cast-iron latticed balustrade that includes square end piers. The west side has a partially rebuilt English bond brick parapet. The bridge is part of a picturesque group that includes a summer house and a temple in the gardens by the river, which are connected to Bishopstrow House by a tunnel.
